Avacha volcano is one of the most active in Kamchatka (2751m). it is often called a “home volcano” because of its closeness to the city. Its crater is filled with hardened lava above which hot steams of fumaroles can be seen rather often.
Camel mountain is a volcanic extrusion rising up at the pass between the Avacha and Koryakskiy volcanoes. Its height is about 1200m. from the top of the Camel mountain you can see the beautiful valley of the Avacha river, Avacha bay and Petropavlovsk city.

Transfer by car to the place where you get on the snowmobile (sledge) or a snowcat. Excursion to the Avacha volcano foothill, walk and taking pictures. Transfer to the Camel mountain. Hot tea and snacks at the base camp. Return to the city
