I arranged this tour for a group of 12 from a cruise ship. The communications was very good and all my questions were answered promptly. We were met from the ship by a large, armoured car like bus (needed because of the rough and snowy terrain through the forest) and taken to the farmhouse about half an hour away. We were greeted by the delightful owner and her family. We were taken to a typical dacha and were given an excellent demonstration by a local ethnic couple; we also tried on the costumes which was fun. The huskies were wonderful and we were allowed to interact with them after an explanation of how they are kept and race. Unfortunately, we were unable to do a ride due to lack of snow but we knew this in advance. We were also shown their reindeer by the female owner which was very interesting. All this was followed by a basic but tasty lunch. I would highly recommend this tour to this fascinating part of the world.
