« “Kamchatintour” is included in the Federal list of tour operators!. Amendments to act of tourism came into effect since June 1st. According to this law only the companies included in tour operator’s federal list of Federal agency for tourism of Russian Federation have right for tour operations.
Since June 1st 2007 “Kamchatintour” Company for foreign travel has been included in the federal list of tour operators for outbound, inbound and local tourism. “Kamchatintour” registration number is МВТ 002584.

Since June 1st "Avacha" Base Camp which is situated on Avacha Pass, goes into the summer work order.
We offer you to have the ascending Avacha volcano (12.741 m.) or to spend some unforgettable days at the foot of two amazing volcanoes.
Avacha volcano is one of the active volcanoes in Kamchatka peninsula, called by our citizens "Home volcano". It is situated in 50 km. from Petropavlovsk - Kamchatsky and is interesting for skiers and alpinists.
For visitors who does not ready for ascending, we offer pleasant walks to the foot of two volcanoes, covered wonderful alpine flowers. The route for ascending is easy for everybody. There is no need any special equipment and training to ascend in summer time. In good weather, every person can ascend Avacha volcano without difficulties. It is very popular among Russians and foreign visitors.

We suggest ascending Koryaksky volcano (3 456 m.) for visitors with training in mountaineering techniques.

"Avacha" Base Camp Services:

• Lodges for 8-10 person in each
• Three meals a day at the space dining lodge (there is a mini system with karaoke)
• Guides and cook services
• Banja

Up to the end of July you can go skiing or snowboard at the environs of our Base Camp, (there is lease).

We offer 2 and 3 weekend days' tours and 1 day excursions to the foot of Avacha and Koryaksky volcanoes to the tourists and visitors of our Base Camp!
